This is a pleasantly situated Self Catering Cottage in the peaceful, picturesque Newlands Valley, just 5 miles from Keswick between the villages of Braithwaite and Buttermere.
Being surrounded by mountains with exceptional views of Catbells, Dale Head and Blencathhra, we are an ideal base for all grades of walking and touring the Lake District National Park, Cumbria's West Coast and Silloth on Solway Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty

The cottage, converted from a stable and adjoining the farmhouse and barn, retains the old oak beams. The cottage with porch is the first ground floor and bedroom window and door from the left on the main pictures. These have wonderful, unspoiled views across the valley of the Church and the Dale Head range of fells including Catbells.
Downstairs comprises a comfortable lounge with a recessed electric coal & wood effect fire - no open fire. The kitchen has electric cooking with microwave, fridge and a freezer.
Upstairs sleeps four in one double and one twin bedded room. The bathroom has shower, toilet and wash hand basin.

The Cottage is oil fired centrally heated. Linen & towels are provided. The Cottage is serviced by a private water supply. Heating, electric and linen are included in the charges.

This is a No Smoking property.
Parking off road for up to two cars just opposite. Car access available to your front door Garden area. Wooden picnic bench with stunning views outside the cottage front door.

This is a popular cottage with our regulars, so you may need to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. We have not posted vacancies on the web site, but if you use the enquiry form or phone us on - 017687 78278 we can quickly sort out your requirements. If the self catering is full, we may be able to put you up in the B&B or signpost you to an alternative.
The price per week for 2012 is from £280 to £380.
Weekend or Midweek breaks may be available off season at £40 per day.
